They did get some things right, such as the emblem maker. Weaker weapons that get nerfed even further are hitmarker machines and feel like toy guns. But the worst offense is their tendency to overbalance things to the point of having awful, weak weapons that are no fun to use in a game with such poor hit detection. I'm not a fan of 3arc's boring 3 lane map design either. It was a technical mess, with some of the worst hit detection in any CoD. Despite that, I keep coming back to the game very often. Only some weapons received a damage boost compared to their MW2 counterparts), shotguns had their balls cut off and are pathetic, explosive damage was reduced to the point of being useless, hit detection seemed a bit worse than MW2, and air support was so weak in this game (I could dispose of Ospreys and choppers within seconds using an LMG with Blind Eye Pro). The things that were terrible about it were the following: Harriers were removed, stopping power was removed (they said early on that stopping power would be built in to all weapons, but the numbers don't lie. For me, MW3 was good in the following ways: nice map design, decent weapons, and fun new game modes. I absolutely hate Black Ops 1 and 2 with a passion. I have no idea why, because honestly, there are good and bad things about it, but it felt really smooth to play for me. For some reason, MW3 is the CoD I have the most time played in.
